Terrible service. Does not understand english well, food arrived late, waited almost 2 hours and food was not as good.

In this town, it is really difficult to find a restaurant which welcome foreigner tourists. We were so lucky to locate this restaurant with English menu. The service is excellent, same as the food. 4 aldults one kid had about 10 dishes with 1 small Sake bottle, total bill is about 11,000 JPY included tax and service charges.Fyi. We stayed in this town one night on a Saturday, we were somehow "refused" by at least 10 restaurants even we said we would wait (maybe they did not understand English)

Excelent sushi bar. We had an amazing experience here, the restaurant is full of friendly local people. They prepare the sushi just in front of you and the menu is based on super fresh fish wich may vary depending on the season. Definetley it is worth a visit if you are in Kanazawa.

Good sushi and tempura with the chef trying to help in English, but thankfully I knew enough Japanese to get by. They were not sure of what sake would be a good fit for the sushi, but came up with a nice selection in the end.

There is lunch in the day, and many menus other than sushi are good.

Don't believe the hype! Mediocre at best

I think Akame Sushi is the local restaurant different from the department store restaurant, so you could enjoy the flavor of sea food and see how locals have their meals and the atmosphere of chatting.
